The fitted kitchen was a dream come true for a big family like ours. It had all the amenities we needed, from a spacious refrigerator to a modern dishwasher, making it easy to prepare meals and snacks for everyone. The cozy dining area was perfect for our family gatherings, creating lasting memories over delicious meals. The kitchen truly felt like the heart of the apartment, and we appreciated having such a well-equipped space during our stay.
My children wanted a larger play area.

We were just steps away from all the cool stuff like the Shambles and the Minster. But let me tell you, the best part was the fitted kitchen - it had everything we needed to cook up some amazing late-night snacks after hitting the town. So good!
Okay, if I had to pick one thing, it would be that the apartment didn't have a party room or something. Like, don't get me wrong, we had a blast exploring York and all, but it would've been epic to have a dedicated space for some late-night dance-offs and jam sessions.

It had everything we needed to cook delicious meals for our large family. The appliances were top-notch and the layout was spacious, making it easy for us all to get involved in the cooking process. It truly felt like a home away from home.
In my wife's opinion, having a designated play area for the children would have been a great addition.

Just back from a lovely weekend at 11 Talbot Court for the Jorvik Viking Festival. Chris, the owner, was incredibly helpful and even offered us an early check-in. The apartment is in the best location ever, with the Cathedral visible from the bedroom window. It felt like a home away from home, with everything we needed for our stay. The apartment was beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable. The local Tesco express is just a minute's walk away, and all the attractions and amenities are right on the doorstep. We will definitely be returning and have recommended it to our friends.
100% Recommend this hotel.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming apartment tucked away in the heart of the city. The welcoming touch of a personally written thank you card and a thoughtful welcome pack, including wine and food, made me feel immediately at home. The apartment was not only clean and cozy but also conveniently located, with all the attractions of the city just a stone's throw away. Despite its central location, the apartment was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The views from the apartment were also breathtaking, offering a glimpse of the city's beauty. The apartment's security measures provided peace of mind, and the well-maintained gardens were an added bonus. my stay at this apartment was nothing short of excellent. I will definitely be recommending it to others.

The warmest welcome ever! This place is mind-blowing, located in the heart of an amazing city, cloistered behind private gates. From our incredibly clean and stylish apartment, we had jaw-dropping views of a beautiful church and even the famous Minster! The location is super convenient, with easy access to everything. Our host, Chris, went above and beyond by leaving us some amazing treats that made our stay even more special. The apartment had all the amenities we needed including free wi-fi, a dryer, an electric kettle, cookware/kitchen utensils, and a flat-screen TV. Despite being so central, the place was surprisingly quiet. We are already planning our next visit and can't wait to come back!
